Believer Church · Albuquerque, NM
Twelve people started this church in a living room in 1980. Forty-five years later, the reason we exist has not changed: make followers of Jesus, and love Albuquerque while we do it.
Sunday service is at 10 AM. Expect worship, teaching straight out of the Bible, and prayer, with BC Kids and BC Mid School meeting at the same time so parents can actually listen. Tuesday nights at 7 PM we open the Bible together, and BC Youth and BC Kids meet too.
Through the week our people gather in small groups in homes across the city, serve their neighbors through LoveABQ, walk through freedom together in BC Recovery, and help fund partners from Los Angeles to Thailand.
Whether you have been in church your whole life or have not walked into one in years, there is a seat here for you. You do not have to have it figured out first.

About Us

Founded in 1980, Believer Church has spent four decades emphasizing the grace of God and inviting people to rest in His unchanging character. Today, lead pastors David and Jordan Eiffert continue that legacy by reaching Albuquerque with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe Jesus Christ is supreme over all things. In everything he holds first place. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that people are saved by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus, and that the Holy Spirit is at work in every believer today.
Make followers of Jesus. Jesus is at the center of who we are, and we hold everything we do up against one question: does this look like Jesus?

Today it is a church of families, students, singles, and seniors from across the metro, led by pastors David and Jordan Eiffert. Our mission is simple: make followers of Jesus.

Not at all, and you are not the only one. You do not need to dress up, know anyone, bring anything, or give anything. Sit wherever you want, and no one will single you out or ask you to stand up.
BC Kids runs during both the Sunday 10 AM and Tuesday 7 PM services, with separate environments for nursery (0-2), preschool (3-5), and elementary (6-12). BC Mid School has its own Sunday morning service, and BC Youth meets Tuesdays at 7 PM for both middle and high schoolers.
Most people start with a small group, a serve team, or First Sunday. Small groups meet in homes across Albuquerque through the week. Serve teams cover hosting, kids, worship, production, and outreach. First Sunday, the first Sunday of each month, includes a Start Here session after service that walks you through who we are and how to get involved.
We believe Jesus Christ is supreme over all things, that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that people are saved by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus, and that the Holy Spirit is at work in believers today. Our full statement of beliefs is on the Beliefs page.
