Here’s what we believe and teach as a church. The convictions we stand on together.
Our Vision
Our mission is simple: make followers of Jesus. Our vision is what that looks like over time: a church full of people who look a little more like him this year than they did last year.

Everything was created through him and for him. Before anything else we say about ourselves, we say this: Jesus is first. Every conviction on this page sits underneath that one.

The bedrock of who we are
Our Beliefs

We believe Jesus Christ is supreme over all things. In everything he holds first place, and everything was created through him and for him. That means Jesus is not one voice among many at this church. His life, his words, and his cross set the terms for everything else we believe, teach, and do.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is trustworthy, and it is our final authority for what we believe and how we live. Our Sunday teaching is built straight from it, passage by passage, because we want to be a church formed by what God has actually said rather than by whatever the moment is saying.

We believe in one God, who has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One God, three persons, in eternal relationship with one another. It means love is not something God learned or needed from us. It is who God has always been.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, the eternal Son of God. Fully God, so he could save us. Fully man, so he could stand in our place. The virgin birth is not a decoration on the Christmas story. It is how God himself entered our world.

We believe people are saved from sin by grace, through repentance and faith in Jesus. Salvation is centered on Jesus, not on self-improvement. Sin broke something between humanity and God, and what sin broke, God put back together through Jesus. Nobody earns this. Grace means it is received, not achieved, and it brings new life and a place in God’s family.

We believe in water baptism as an outward expression of an inner faith, and that it’s God’s plan for every believer to be baptized in water. Baptism identifies a person with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and it publicly declares that they follow him. We celebrate baptisms every month on First Sundays, and anyone who has decided to follow Jesus can take that step.

We believe in Communion, the table of the Lord, shared by his followers. It is a shared act of remembering what Jesus did for us, his body broken and his blood poured out. We take Communion together as a church family on First Sundays, coming back to the cross as the center of everything.

We believe it is God’s will for every believer to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to receive a prayer language of speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit is a person, not a force or vague spiritual energy. He is God himself living in believers, and he helps, teaches, leads, and empowers. That is why a Spirit-led life is never a matter of trying harder.

We believe the gifts of the Spirit are active today, both in the life of the individual and in the church together. The gifts we read about in the New Testament did not retire with the first century. We expect God to still speak and still move, and we practice these gifts the way Scripture instructs: with order, humility, and love.

We believe Jesus is building his Church, and that every believer is meant to be a living, functioning part of it. The church is a family and a place of belonging, not a content product or a Sunday-only event. God’s plan for a person’s life cannot be fulfilled alone, so we worship, serve, and grow together.

We believe in divine healing, made available for every believer through the work of Christ. We pray for the sick with real expectation, because the Jesus who healed people then is the same Jesus alive today. There is prayer at the front after every service, and you never have to be in crisis to ask.

We believe every believer is given the power to live a victorious, overcoming life. Following Jesus is not meant to be merely survived. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in every believer, which means real freedom and real change are possible in this life, not just the next one.

We believe Jesus Christ will return. History is going somewhere, and it ends with him. That hope changes how we live now: with urgency about the people around us, and with confidence that the future belongs to Jesus.

We believe in eternal life for those who believe, and eternal punishment for those who do not. Every person will spend eternity somewhere, which is why we take the good news of Jesus so seriously. Heaven is real, hell is real, and the invitation of the gospel is open to everyone.
